In Wageningen, Roza goes through life as Femma Muller. That's the name on her false identity card (PB). Are all the details in the PB incorrect? No, just the photo. Femma Muller actually exists.
A brave acquaintance from Cuijk
The real Femma Muller lives in Cuijk, the place where Roza grew up. She doesn't hesitate when Roza needs a fake ID. "I'll say I've lost mine," she says. The two women know each other, they lived near each other in Cuijk. This is very useful, because if questions were to be asked, Roza is familiar with the history of Femma

Lazy in the sun...
When the bombs fall on September 17, Roza is sitting in a sun lounger in the garden, enjoying the beautiful weather. A bomb falls nearby. Roza is hit by shards in her groin and thigh and dies almost immediately due to the heavy bleeding. The Leendertz family, who had been watching the planes on the balcony, remains unharmed.

Only Jewish victim in hiding
Roza Zwaneweber-Andriesse, alias Femma Muller, is the only Jewish person in hiding in the Sahara to die. Her body is placed in one grave with several others. Whether and if so where her remains were eventually laid to rest is unknown. After the bombing, the Plomp family evacuates to Medemblik. Marianne continues to live with the Plomp family after the war and takes their surname at a later age. Marianne passes away in 2019.
Roza's brothers André and Hugo were arrested and murdered in different camps. Roza's parents Elkan and Eleonora Andriesse and her sister Marcella survive the war.
